Bronce, Plata, and Oro level donors will be recognized as sponsors of the Initiative through our publications.
Our mission is to identify, nurture and mentor the next generation of leaders and advocates in bilingual/multicultural education. We define leadership as advocacy, participation in professional organizations, school leadership, mentoring, and challenging unjust and inequitable systems in schools.
Some of our initial advocacy and intellectual issues included, but are not limited to:
- Documenting the most pressing issues regarding the teaching of emerging bilinguals in our state.
- Ensuring that our state stakeholders are informed advocates
- Memorializing the history of CO-CABE.
- Writing white papers published by CO-CABE.
